I would have to double check but i am almost positive. However mercury alone in its liquid form isnt something i have to deal with.

No, that is not my MO. Everytime stuff like this comes up it's the same thing. You get a wild hair in your butt, and start this "I'm 100% correct." bs. That's why this forum is only fun to you..because you get to walk around like cock of the walk. It's not attack when it's correct, so stop with the "I'm getting attacked" mumbo jumbo. I've seen you on numerous occasions, get into heated discussions..and then end up locking topics. Hopefully one of these days this forum will be deleted...and then you can just talk away to yourself. My bin example was to show how silly you are most of the time.

    Yeah actually it is.

I dont walk around like anything. Im just sitting here waiting for you to name a metal that water doesn't corrode. I mean if you could say i was wrong then you must have had a metal in your mind to make you think that. Name it. Quit being your normal self and attacking after you opened your mouth and give the metal i was wrong on. Quit trying to change the topic and name that metal.

I don't believe that mercury, platinum, or gold oxidize...or react at all to anything short of sulfuric, nitric or hydoclorich acids. I could be wrong...chemistry was a long time ago.

Like i said i would have to double check. Im gonna call it 50 50. Like i said combined it causes other metal to corrode quickly. That being said its solid form only remains as long as there is another metal for it to bond with. It can corrode in a solid state but it requires like -40c to become solid on its own. At that temp you cant have moisture in the air because its actually frozen and like many things cold slows the process. In its liquid state it will not corrode but it will evaporate in water. So mission will still be complete. Damn good call though. I dont work with mercury so i had to go off what i remembered.

I don't have to name a metal. You know why?...because you started the water comparison. Not me...because I was talking about acid reflux. Both White and I stated that stomach acid can cause a multitude of issues. Then, you started with water bs.

If you want to treat as a small issue, fine. However, just because you treat it as such...doesn't mean it is.

Platinum and gold are highly resistant to corrosion but they do corrode. I just gave festus what i had to dig up on mercury. Most times when people think of corrosion they only think of what happens to steel but thats not the only way it goes down. Some continually tarnish getting a thicker and thicker coat until the metal is gone and other pit. All of which is corrosion and all end it failure.

Game? You changed it....LOL. Seriously wow. We were talking about acid reflux ..and you alone mentioned water. No one else. I'll be damned if I'm gonna sit and let you act like I changed subjects. You did.
