How about issuing sanctions to countries that have people crossing the borders illegally? In an effort to make countries take control of their own population and borders etc.

Still hitting the wrong side.

If we deport people to say.....Shitholia, and those people cost the government of Shitholia a bunch of money, how do you think they will be greeted once home? I'm afraid all it would do is fill graves.

We need to remove the desire to come here illegally. If we make life impossible for those who sneak in, we will have less people sneaking in. Couple that with an overhaul of our system of processing those who want to be legal, and the problem is greatly lessened.

Crossing has to become an actual threat. I say that already knowing im a dick but the point isn't to keep people out. Its to make them come in legally. I actually have to issues with immigrants shit my sister married a cuban and someone i would let no harm ever come to. His family has my utmost respect. Not one of them born in their family tree was born in this country until my nephew came to be but they all came here and did what it took to become a citizen. That is what we not only want but need. Those that opt to go the other route aren't worth a pile of dog shit.

I agree with you but being realistic, dgod, the U.S. government will not start shooting people at the border. I´m not saying it shouldn´t, I´m saying not one politician in all of U.S.A. will run on a "I propose to shoot people at the border" campaign. That won´t happen. Ever.
