No no...make them work to get it. And I´m not saying this will be payed by Americans. This shit will be managed by NPO´s funded by international entities. Make them work without pay and create a system to assimilate them into the culture. When they´re ready, give them the green card. It should take years for someone to be able to get in.

It already takes years for people to become a citizen legally and I think that´s a good thing.

Well we have all kinds of toys just sitting in military warehouses. Some of those would be more then enough to stop border crossing and all you would have to do is have the border patrol while already on their runs to stop and reload them. Trust me the stopping part is easy. Its getting people to stomach it thats the tough part.

You just talked about good people that you personally know that left their countries to enter ours illeagally. That was what I was referring to. When good people leave a bad place, it doesn't help the bad place get better, rather it helps make it easier for more good people to leave.

Never said you did.
I was referring to the easy access we are currently giving. Millions of people are illeagally crossing the border, and if they can get a few miles away, we give them access to health, education, housing, food, ect. The crossing itself can be tough, but once across, we have made it pretty easy to stay.
