What I was referring to would be during the Nixon era.

I would say that China was no match for us, but they certainly had the numbers to make up for dichotomy in training and equipment.

What don´t you guys understand that there will always be people that will not agree with the U.S. stance and foreign policy around the world? (in this case I use the U.S. because I´m talking to you guys). There will always be people that RESIST a foreign power meddling in their business/country/everyday life. It is not a matter of unleashing the military unchecked either.

How insipid can someone be to think that you can solve any of this with bombs and bullets? Like I said, you can´t shoot or bomb terrorism.

But you can blow the living shit out of the terrorists behind said terrorism. Don't matter if they agree or don't agree. If they want to behead children and other unspeakable acts they can eat a bomb shaped dick. And those that step up to take their place... We have more bomb shaped dicks in reserve just for them too.
