To me it's a perfect example of what the tin foil hats have been saying for years now about police militarization and violation of freedom of press , lawful assembly and who knows what hasn't made press yet. Rioting and looting fine do whats necessary but what the police are doing as far as I'm concerned is just as illegal.

Not just the tin-foil crowd. There are plenty of people, of all complexions, who are worried and angered by this.

This is one of those issues that highlights the error of dividing the entire political world into a binary liberal/conservative construction. I'm not saying that everyone here does it, but plenty of people I interact with in the real world do.
