LOL yeah the good cops being much larger percentage to the bad ones is starting to look a bit backwards. Really why did he fire his weapon that many times? Lock his ass up.

Yeah I've been watching both of those stories for a while. More and more cops are just opening fire instead of attempting to resolve a situation.

btw... With the kid in the wal-mart... The cops say they thought the kid had an AR15 that he was carrying through the store. They also said that he was brandishing the weapon in a menacing manner.

A) it's an open carry state. It's LEGAL to walk around with an AR15 if someone so chooses.

B) the video OBVIOUSLY shows that he was NOT brandishing the weapon in a menacing manner or any other manner.

As someone that has cop friends and was the first to jump to their defense... I'm getting REAL tired of this type of thing.

Also, (been a while since I've been in Wallie World) aren't the AR-15s in a secure cabinet? I thought only knives were on display, and those are even locked inside of a glass display case. The video shows him picking up the BB gun/pellet gun/whatever from a shelf off to the side.

I don't know about you guys, but I was always taught that you should announce what you're going to do for a cop - even to the point of when you are told to get your registration, you should say that you have to reach into the glove box to get it (and you sure as hell don't make any abrupt movements). That guy turned for his license FAST and came whipping back around in a hurry. When I watched the video the first time I honestly thought he was going to come out of the car with a weapon, so I'm not the least bit surprised that the cop reacted the way he did. Thankfully nobody was killed, that's about the only positive side of the story
