Seems a bit ham-fisted.

I suppose it shouldn't be surprising. So many of us have been getting this symbol so wrong, for so long, in so many ways.

The surprising thing would be if all of a sudden we worked out all the kinks, got our twisted divisions straightened out, and then had a collective shrug and got on with our lives.

Seems like we're going to continue to flop around in the mud for a while.
