    Your source for news

We may of had threads on this before, but as a person who enjoys posting stories of interest here, was curious where everyone likes to go when they want to see what is going on in the world. Obviously mine choice is plain as day (if you read any of my threads).

To clarify ahead of time, websites are a site like Politico and not like bbc.co.uk, for example, or abc's website or a newspapers website. Think that was all that needed clarifying (if there is more, do ask).

Lastly, if you wish (would suggest it) post why you go to the places you go (specific site names etc. can be included) and what is your #1 source, or the one you would go to the most when you want to find out what is going on.

    Re: Your source for news

Generally I read articles from various websites and follow links here at ttp since the internet is where I spend most of my free time when I'm not working or playing in sports leagues.

One of the places I work at has fox news on the tv all day, so I'll listen in when they are reporting on most non political news.

Kinda like today when I learned that an oil rig had exploded right of the LA coast...wouldn't have even known.

    Re: Your source for news

Fox News can be okay when its just reporting on news, it their commentary (similar to MSNBC) that goes way out there, and sometimes the selective stories they run.

I usually go to BBC (duh), Local newpapers website (azcentral.com), Local news broadcasts, CSPAN (at times), and now and then will check out Politico

Google News, which takes me to all the major networks, foreign newspapers, tv and radio stations as well as blogs and other industry sources. I read more then one source for each news story.

And then I have a dozen or so blogs that I read daily.

Actually, even though I think Beck and Hannity hit on some good points every now and again, they are really the only big time "biased" people on the network. Generally the others seem to be pretty balanced.

740 am radio in the car and fox news when at the gym.

    Fox News amuses me.
