Re: Drinking Age
Im from Europe. First trains are not main transport in every major city in Europe. In Balkan (Serbia,Montenegro,Macedonia, Croatia etc) it is allowed to drive when u r age 18. U can drive what ever car u wont. And % of those who have cars on there 18 years is huge ,almost everyone have it.
Here is legal to by alcohol and drink it,there is no low against it. But it is forbidden to drink and drive. It is allowed to have 0.5 % alcohol in your blood when u driving.

Where is soy?
I thought the main reason the drinking age is 21 is because the brain is done developing at that age.
Honestly booze is over rated and most people are marketed/programmed to drink beer.
there is a book out...... something about stuff is SAFER so why are we driving people to drink.
google it
YEA BEER AND FOOTBALL MAKES ME A MAN!!!!!!!!

Re: Drinking Age
Gonna say nope.
I drink wine with my parents occasionally when we're having a really nice dinner and I smoke a cigar or a pipe with my dad once in a while. No police man is going to come to my house and arrest me because of it. It's a safe and sheltered environment where I drink for the taste, not to get drunk.
I would oppose decreasing the drinking age to 18 for non service members because with our youth culture it would just result in more unsafe sex and stupid things in addition to increasing the DUI related accidents and death.
But, if you're in the service, then you should be able to do everything a completely legal adult is able to do - including drinking.

When it comes to beer, I like to try just about everything, but I prefer some of the more interesting imports. Delirium is a moderately decent brewery with some good beers, Samichlaus is pretty awesome too, along with Chimay, and a few other random ones.
When I drink it's for flavor, not quantity.

and according to the statistics posted earlier in the thread... it seems like if we wanted to base the drinking age on psychological maturity it would be more like 31...
