Thread: Things you aren't happy about with Obama

Point of this is more so because it seems often anyone who is on the left (or in some cases leans left in some ways/doesn't criticize everything Obama does) is accused of thinking Obama is "god" or "doesn't do anything wrong." Thus, here is a place you can post what you don't like that he has/hasn't done so far.

For me (and note I didn't vote for him) so far its:

• Keeping the Patriot Act
• Still in Iraq
• No action on Gitmo
• allowing oil drilling off the coast
• Anti-Nuclear power

probably others I can't remember but those are the big ones.

I did not vote for Obama, big shock I know, right, but I am not disappointed in him at all. I had low expectations going in, and so far he has lived up to them.

My politics are not in line with the President, but I have to say the extension of the Patriot act made me sad. That is as UN-patriotic of a law as I have ever seen.

I'm with you on this except for the drilling (I think we should, even with the current spill) and adding the transparency, since a few times there seem to be things that pop into existence.

Added - forgot about bailing out GM and the banks...

other then that hes doin good

LOL, had 2 value meals from McDs for lunch and a large pizza for dinner, but other than that I really stuck to my diet today.

I am not in agreement with most if not all of Obama's views on issues, but he is nonetheless still my president and I will give him my respect.

however, his push for federal money being used to fund abortions is something I am appalled at. I have different views on abortion than other people but that's not the issue, the use of taxpayers dollars is just ridiculous...considering there are bigger fish to fry, ESPECIALLY with education tanking as it is.

I don't know, Obama has made some good moves and some bad ones. many more bad ones in my opinion, but it is what it is. his priorities are what i am critical of now.

I didnt really eat all that, it was humor.
