The opium dens they use to have in San Fransico back in the day were fucking people up bad.

Nope... Depending on the test, they can cause a false positive to pop.

I know of people that have tested positive. The kolaches are loaded with poppy seeds, this isnt just 15 sprinkled on a bagel.

In that case, it's not possible every time then. I come from an extensive Czech/Moravian family and every time we get together we eat nothing but poppyseed kolaches. I'm talking deep Czech where the grandparents still speak the language. When I joined the Marine Corps in 98 my flight was scheduled to leave Sunday afternoon. The Saturday before my parents threw me a going away party and everyone came with kolaches. I ate a ton of them. When I arrived in San Diego we eventually had a drug test. The guy a few bunks down got taken away by PMO because he actually did something he shouldn't have....

If you read the snopes article, it says a lot of places have upped the 'trigger' levels for a positive test. It may be that you popped positive, but your levels weren't high enough for them to actually do anything.
