Re: Rand Paul defeats Trey Grayson in KY primary
I have my doubts too, but nobody currently in office is doing it either.
The hope and changer isn't doing it, tea party is already in bed with the Republicans, and folks backing one of the two parties keep taking pot shots at each other instead of really analyzing what their own folks are doing(son).

Health Care reform
Banking reform
That's a start. It's not perfect but it beats 8 years of Bush's bullshit.
Tell me you're not excited about the last industrialized nation on Earth actually wanting to take care of it's citizens health care.

Re: Rand Paul defeats Trey Grayson in KY primary
You had to add a slam on Bush in order to facilitate the weak reforms Obama has signed in by a weak Congress?
Even Democratic supporters feel it wasn't enough on health care, I would have rather it gone a different route. Banking reform is another weak deal, again even by Democratic supporters, again I feel it should have gone a different route.
That is all off topic though.
Who cares about 8 years of bullshit, I am more concerned about the next 50 years of bullshit if we continue with this two party system run by lobbyists corporations.
At this point any shake up is a good shake up, you are content with the same shit from a different angle, I am not.

Re: Rand Paul defeats Trey Grayson in KY primary
Ron Paul isn't what this post is about nor is any of his ideas Hawg.
Why don't you start a new post proving your statement and citing sources rather than try to bring a new discussion based on your claims into this one?
Come on, you're a big boy, I know you can. :P

Re: Rand Paul defeats Trey Grayson in KY primary
Yup, but mine are not, you asked me what I would change about health care reform if you were referring to my reply.
Ron Paul is not Rand Paul, if you were referring to Hawgs post.
Talk about Rand Paul and it's fine and on topic agreed?
Rand Paul wouldn't be my pick for President or anything, but he was definitely better than the options in the primary and is better than the democratic offering. In the end other folks can criticize him, but if you aren't from here he isn't representing you, just his constituents as it should be. I think he brings some different options to the table, but I am dubious that once he gets to Washington he will fall in line with the Republicans. At this point I am willing to take the chance that he won't and will actually be more in line with his more libertarian-esque father.
