If that was the case how would we ever bring about change? Then you should be agreeing with all of Obama's procedures because that is they way the law is written.....at the time.

This thread is not about every law and procedure but just this one situation on the border involving a teen.

Well. As I see it while a law is in place you should follow it while still fighting to get it repealed in the meantime if you feel that way.

So if there's a law that says it's okay to throw hamburgers at people, and I throw a hamburger at someone, I shouldn't get in trouble, because the law said it's okay. However, people who disagree with the law are free to fight to get the law removed, in which case it would no longer be a law, and I would not be able to throw hamburgers at people anymore without getting in trouble.

Hey, we are not talking about protests all over the world, we are talking about in the U.S. We should hold Americans to American standards, not to Iranian standards. How other countries react to protests is irrelevant to this thread. If force was necessary, I wouldn't have a problem with it. I feel this is pretty clearly excessive force.

You cant be serious. What reason would he have to pick up those rocks and throw them if it isnt personal harm to the idividual they are being throw at? Why do you think it takes a boulder to bash a guys head in? It can be a normal ass size rock that kills someone.

Roit police dont use live rounds because they are sent out with non lethal rounds but even in extreme circumstances live round can be used. They are equiped to deal with people in a non lethal means. This border patrol agent even with the piss poor quality of the video is obvious not equiped to deal with it.

Why do you continue to try and make an arguement where there isnt one? Roit gear has no relivance to what has happened. Instead of trying to poke holes in it why not give actual examples as to how he could have dealt with the situation with the resources he has available to him when it happened. What ifs arent worth shit. I gave you everything he could have with him at the time and why he had no choice but to use his side arm. Come up with another way and its worth talking about but leave the whole letting himself and the detainee getting stoned to death out of it. None of us in that situation would let people continue to try and cause us bodily harm so why the hell should any of us exspect him to.
