This is a "BILL" or a law? anyways will protect us from a foreign rouge nation....lets say China decides to hack our infrastructure.

As long as they do not abuse the power to shut down the internet what is the problem?

You're right Commander, but I am not for the USA anyway, as yall already know.... I just got warned again for thread jacking... My 2 week suspension should have been excommunication because I just can't control myself.

I just follow Trigger and what he says, I back, even though it's such an extreme view far from the truth. I got my warning for thread jacking too. I bet if I do it again, I will get more than the 2 week suspension trigger got.

Looked at the text of the bill, and while skimmed due to how long it was, From what I read so far I saw no "kill switch" option given to the President. The closest I saw was, should the the president declare a national cyber emergency, one of the agencies created would require owners of critical systems to run the emergency plan (or something to that effect). You can find it yourself, but so far it sounds more like the article/blog in the OP is taking things way out of context.
