Re: Justice Prevails!
One of the guys at work(I think we have 3 or 4 with DWIs) would have rather done 6 months than all the bullshit he has to do on probation. Ankle bracelet, blow and go, rehab, classes, curfew, random drug and alcohol checks, $1000 drivers license every year. He said 6 months would have been easy, get trustee, get two for one and out in 3 months.
When they say you cant afford it they arent joking.

I have never been in this situation but what happens if someone is pulled over, officer smells booze (you have had like 4-5 dark beers) you get out and pass the sobriety test?
Thats aimed at you Hub since you know Texas law like the back of your hand.

If you were pulled over for some sort of reckless driving (i.e swerving) and you blow under the limit and pass all the test, the cop can still detain you for the driving violation. This he most likely will not do, but will ask you to call someone and have them come drive you home.
Traffic offenses are misdemenors, and you can go to jail for them. Do cops take you to jail for them? No, not hardly, unless you are being a fucking asshole, then they will
