No offense man, but most of your posts seem designed to do nothing but insight more conflict. Kraker's posts are vulgar but yours are no shining example of fair thought and civility.
You dont have to use 4-letter words to be vulgar.
Now then...
The poll is an opinion question. It was not a poll of Political Scientists; it was a poll of likely voters intended to indicate what obstacles Obama will face in reelection. In this case, a significant percentage of polled likely voters view Obama as something akin to a socialist. The fact that many people dont know what a true socialist IS is irrelevant...it's still a preconception that Obama will face in reelection.
Cry as you might about the plight of the poor uneducated American Voter...it doesn't matter.

See but your talking what you want the poll to say instead of what is says. It does not say has Obamas actions leaned to or from socialism. It says rate Obamas socialistness. In my opinion hes driving us there but this is one big fucking train. So it takes a long time to get up to speed and even longer to stop the motion.

Just thought I'd ask Wicked - hows that working out for the top 4 in your chart? Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain? Might be more interesting to see the ranking of net assets of small businesses by country as opposed to simply numbers of small businesses. Probably more pertinent as well

Not to poke fun at you jwm - but you needed to see the shake-down of the poll results to decide that education in this country was a problem?
I thought the grammar here alone would suffice in that regard (relax people - I know those of you with the worst grammar don't care - just teasing yall)

No, genius, if you OWN the car 80% of the time, just like the wealthiest OWN most of the wealth, you deserve to pay more.
Yes, because all the poor do is sit on welfare and do nothing. Right... And you belief that since the wealthy may not use or need services means they shouldn't have to pay taxes will lead to the collapse of the United States. Is that your goal? Hell, I don't use the military and I oppose the wars, does that mean I can opt out of paying taxes for those? An educated and healthy populace is good for everyone involved, including the wealthy.
I'm still waiting for you to show me something Obama has advocated that is explicitly socialist. Misrepresenting his health care reform does not count. You have failed to do so, and this is the third or fourth request.
There are obviously exceptions, however just because your father was able to crawl out of poverty doesn't mean everyone is. And those who fail don't do so because they don't work hard enough, it's just that the system is set against them. The ability to climb the social ladder based on income is greater in the Nordic countries and Canada, not the US.
So now we are "fanboys" because we don't buy into your delusions? And because we refute them? Please...
A capitalist. One who supports a smidgen more regulation and takes a Keynesian approach to recovering from a recession, but a capitalist nonetheless.

haha, nah, that's why I said, "I've said it before, I'll say it again....." Just trying to remind people. It just saddens me to know that most people think they are an expert and they come here to argue their view as if it was fact with no intention whatsoever to be swayed from their view. In other words, their minds are set and they have no desire to learn anymore. I'll tell you right now, you should never stop learning because you will never learn everything. In my opinion, the majority of the world stops learning too early and it doesn't happen on its own, they make that choice.
