Really? Reagan policies worked so well? I seem to recall massive debt as a result of his policies.

This is the part where they bring up Budget Surplus and the miracles of Bill Clinton - I mean, it has to stay partisan up in here...

Lets do just that. They say on average you dont feel what a president has done for approximately 8 years. So who should get the credit for clintons surplus?

So then who should get credit for the wonderful Reagan years?

And 8 years ago today, who was in office?

Problem with that arguement is what reagan personally did while in office. Just like if Obama got peace in the middle east nothing anyone could say would be able to take that away. The only thing Clinton did great was distracting the nation with a blow job.

Bush Jr. and Obama at least have two wars as excuses for budgetary problems;the same could be said for Bush Sr. Clinton did have a surplus. Reagan had Star Wars among other things. That put us seriously in the hole.

Reagan also brought an end to the cold war, brought down the berlin wall, grenada, lowered taxes, was one of the only presidents that thought more government was not the answer and star wars is back. So does that make him a visionary?
