Re: Kill the Ground Zero Mosque TV Ad
Let me make try to explain this a bit more,
The University of Maryland did a study in which they asked people in a number of different countries if "bombing and other attacks intentionally aimed at civilians" were ever acceptable. They found that there was substantially more people in the US who were willing to say that terrorism was justified then in any other country surveyed.

Or how about every serious study that has been done that shows that 90+ percent of all Muslims living anywhere in the world condemn terroristic actions. And many of those who do support al-Qaeda or the Taliban also support the US for offering humanitarian aid....

But by all means, be a bigoted little twit and live your life condemning billions of people for the actions of a few...Last edited by Arreo; 07-18-10 at 01:15 AM.

ummm I think we are all misunderstanding each other. From the lines prior, it looked like Scott was saying, was Muslims shouldn't get singled out as the Bill of Rights gives Freedom of Religion, not just Freedom of Religion to this group, and not this one.
Scott, mine was just pointing out, that if you want to say a Mosque shouldn't be built because some muslim extremists flew jets into the Twin Towers, then we shouldn't allow the building of christian churches as the Arian Nation conducts actions similar to terrorists, and is based heavily on Christianity

Hmmm, now that you mention it I haven't either. I just remembered that past article talking about it being opened on 9/11. Again, I don't think it's necessarily a morally wrong thing to do, depending on intentions, but I think it's a sure fire way to breed more violence and animosity between Muslims and non-Muslim Americans.
