Re: Why is race a factor?
So they just don't want to swim? Wow. That is really your counterargument? What's next, poor people are poor because they want to be? You arguments are so shallow and asinine, it's hard to even take you serious. You are given a sociological explanation as to why minorities aren't as good of swimmers as whites, and your response is not to try and refute it, but rather just to say, "durrrrrr they just don't want to swim." We are talking about societies, not individuals.

Re: Why is race a factor?
So, black kids cant swim because they are black. Because they dont have inner city pools? So all black people are from the inner city? your "sociological" argument sounds a bit racist to me.
I dont care if you are brown, white, purple, green, blue, neon pink, or midnight wine....if you want to do something, you will learn to do it. To say that certain races are incapable of doing something because of...well, thier race, is borderline a biggoted hatred statement....
But what do i know....I have a mullet, goatee, and fuck my sister....
