And? We've got a love/hate relationship with both (depending on what's going on in the world and who you ask about it). That was merely my response via rhetorical question. I think that the US government funds several countries, in particular those two, for various strategic reasons. I see nothing necessarily wrong with it other than we can ill afford a lot of things that we spend money on (and the simple fact that history has shown that we wind up at odds with many countries/peoples that we "support" over the years).

I, generally, disagree with a lot of the foreign spending that they US has done for the last several decades. It is a drain. One that we receive little tangible benefit from. But that's besides the point.

I posted in this topic as I disagreed with labeling Israel (or any other country for that matter) cowardly for no other reason that they didn't "join in the fight."

I never called Israel "cowardly," I just said that we shouldn't be funding them. I'm not sure why Commander introduced the concept of their cowardice into the conversation.

You're smarter than that Alundil. My cowardly comments were meant to push commander into offering a real response as to why Israel didn't send troops. Of all the countries out there, Israel would rank dead last on the cowards list.

Never said you did Wicked, and I'm not sure why Commander would and equally not sure why Trigger would affirm either - but oh well. Off to another meeting.

My personal opinion is that Commander was trying to skew the argument towards one that he could win, but that's just like, my opinion, man.
