nah, i would say iran funding the lebanese army is the bigger issue. it would probably destabilize the region ever more.

IMO, the best solution would be to stop funding both parties :P

Well, Israel has a big lobby. The fact that politicians agree that we should provide welfare for Israel doesn't necessarily indicate that it's the right choice.

Iran funding the LA would not be a good thing, although they are funding weapons, logistics, and support to Hezbollah right now and have been for a long time, so this isn't new. Iran is stating they they will provide the 100M that we just cut off.... I think LA and Iran are going to have their hands so full shortly, that throwing a 100 million dollars around is going to be the least of their worries.

So, now Lebanon has an offer to receive the weapons and funding, with a precondition that they are not to be allowed to be used on Israel.... They said we can keep our money...

Who come up with such a dumb precondition. There should not be any preconditions on a country on what they can defend against, if you are getting attacked, then you let them have it.

What should have been stated and sort of was, is that you prove that this money and weapons is not falling into the hands of the terrorist organization that they are sponsoring and sheltering and we all know that answer, they can't, so they should not receive the funding and it should have stopped YEARs ago.
