Yes, but any building opened will eventually be open on a 9/11(unless it's torn down in less than a year), right? What I heard from a lot of people was that they agreed that they had the right to build their mosque, but it was in poor taste to open on that date. I would also hazard a guess that the intersection of the two groups (Glenn Beck followers, people angry about the mosque) was large.

I wasn't saying you should be offended - I was speaking to "general" masses that white alluded to. They have every right to be offended. I have every right not to be, or even care.

Well, I wouldn't be so quick to write off Hypocrisy, or to broadly apply that label to everyone. It's important to keep this in mind the next time the same group gets indignant over perceived offenses.

Your overlooked what has people irrated with the building. It isnt that it will be open on the date of 9-11. Its the location and the proposed date to open the doors that have them upset.
