The poll is accurate, however I bet their are more conservatives and constitution protectors visiting that sight than the softer side.

As long as I said you said no, I would be accurate...but its kind of bias...because you cant out someone like that in a public forum

Come on guys, go outside, there is a big world out there beyond Dems and Reps...

Right, so that adds a fairly sizable caveat to the results.

Polls are luck of the draw no matter who runs them. There is no truth to be found in them. The whole point of having a poll is to get a general consensus on how poeple feel about something. That in no way gauranties you couldn't run the exact same poll in 2 different areas and come up with the same answers. Anyone who puts their faith in polls might as well flip a coin your odds are going to be the same.

No - there are good polls and bad polls. Pols can be conducted in a scientific manner and can be an accurate tool. This poll isn't one of them. Dismissing scientific polls alongside this as if they're the same is dishonest. It's a common tactic: Trump up the validity of something when it agrees with you, but when it doesn't, or your evidence is shown to be faulty, try to use false equivalence to bring down valid tools with it.

You see it all the time with politicians - When you're trashing on Obama, he's a socialist, he's anti-American, he's a power-monger who will take away your freedoms, etc.
When talking about the failures of Bush - All politicians are the same.

This is a bad poll, but there are good polls.
