Selling used software may be illegal...
According to the Ninth Circuit Court if the EULA prohibits reselling the software then it is illegal to do so...

The only reason behind it is that Microsoft and other companies make their money back on games, since they lose money making consoles, and were sick of other people (GameStop) making money instead of people buying new copies from them.

Not good... I think this could lead to increased pirating. It has the potential to change all kinds of things. I can understand the position autodesk took, the software is expensive. I look for more people to start supporting software companies that are less restrictive in their EULAs.

I never have liked the fact that I dont own the software on my computer. I buy a board game its mine. I buy a cd its mine. If I make something and sell it to you its yours. You paid for it.
Perhaps congress will change things...
