Trigger my point is that if you have hit bottom then had a very mild rise from there that does not constitute the end of a recession. If it were the stock market it would be looked at as a fluke in market prices. For whatever reason they choose to give it a new name of double dib recession of which as far as i can tell did not even exsist until the 80's. So they can call it whatever they want but a small rise then another drop does not to me mean the recession was over exspecially since that rise came primarily from government jobs for the census. At least thats my opinion on it.

Yeah, that obviously doesn't count because it doesn't fit some people's narrative here that Obama is trying to destroy the economy because he is a commie Muslim, or something like that.

Let me elaborate just a bit. Not everything can be substanciated with irreverable proofs. People seem to lose sight of that. Just because you dont see my side or i dont see your side doesn't make either one of them wrong. Many including myself would like there to be a solid reason behind things because it makes it easier to solve the problem at hand.

Unfortunately many topics that are going to be in this section of the forums do not run on a black and white color scale. These particular topics are going to have as much opinion as fact in them. IE the war in Iraq some think it was for oil some for freeing a nation some for wmd's and so forth. There is no way to know the whole story behind why we went to war no matter how much CNN covered it. These are closed door issues which makes identifing the actual reason we went impossible.

Now you have the beet thread being discussed. There are obviously different views on that topic as well. So whos right and whos wrong? No one its all opinion. Now the reason we are in a recession is a bit easier to calculate but how do we fix it? Once again all opinion. If it was a clear cut answer we wouldn't still be in one and it sure wouldn't have lasted as long as it has.

So trying to flame others because their opinions dont match yours makes no sense.

Who is blaming Obama? If im not mistaken the most people have said is he shares the blame with others to include bush and that his policies and bail outs have failed.
