That's a good question - but I think that her citizenship is moot considering that they served in the military. There is more to the story I am sure, but I think that there is no justifiable reason to deport these two men.

Right now, law wise, there service is moot to if they can be deported or not. The Bill including the proposed law that would change that was filibustered, and even if that law came up by itself, it would probably still get filibustered.

Sad but if they were asked to supply proof for their ap and didn't comply then they have no one to blame but themselves. I would like to see the law pass making service equal citizenship but as of right now they are screwed on that one. Good luck to both of them getting this settled.

You never had to be an american citizen to serve. So it really isnt thanks for serving get out. Its more thanks for serving oh yeah next time send the paperwork when asked to.
