Re: British Airways Boss Slams US Security Requests
Ever stop to think that maybe there is MORE to taking off your shoes and checking the lap tops as to deter "terrorism?"

Re: British Airways Boss Slams US Security Requests
Fuck no i aint letting it be. If they have reasons that make sense then they should let those reasons be known. The problem is they dont have any real reasons. What they have is a bunch of garabe that they spew out about safety when what they are doing does not impove anyones safety. 1 failed shoe bomber means 310 million people have to take their shoes off when they get to the airport. Thats fucking stupid.
Then the underwear bomber lol. So whats next strip searches for everyone? No we come up with a scanner that by its very invention is an invasion of privacy in this country. They have scanners that detect exsplosives and they have been around for years. Put it next to the metal detector and people can walk through both at the same time if they're so concerned with safety.
They wont do that for 2 very good reasons. Its exspensive and they know damn well you cant stop someone that is determined from doing what they want. If they want the plane down its coming down no matter how many fucking hoops you make every person jump thru that has done nothing wrong. If you want to eliminate 90 percent of the threat the answer is simple. You have to racially profile accordingly. Sure it wont catch all of them but the bulk will know the real score at that time.

Re: British Airways Boss Slams US Security Requests
you cant have your cake and eat it too death....
Wicked, who knows what? That is the point...we SHOULDNT know. We have the most sophisticated intelligence agency in the world...the government knows shit WAAAAAY before we do...so they are proactive and act rather than react. Is it flawless? Fuck no, nothing in this world is. But at least its something.
Ok death...So say they know 10 ways to blow up a plane, that normal people do not know about...are you saying they should out the security flaws in the system? Or they should just tell you what you are looking for as to make sure you do not do that if you were a terriost? Get a job man....I thought you were a marine? You sound like a left wing liberal nut case....

Because after all "questioning invasions of personal privacy by a government agency that we all know was slapped together hastily after 9/11" = OMG librul! And apparently also unemployment although not sure where that came into play at all. You have the biggest hard-on for authority figures that I've ever seen Kraker. "Someone with some sort of badge or uniform told us to do something... just do it and don't ever, ever question!"

You have way too much faith in the intelligence agencies that thought that there were WMDs in Iraq. And if they're so proactive, why did these measures come about only after someone tried to use the technique that they're checking for? You live in too much fear.
And racial profiling is unamerican. Your fear of the world is not enough to start taking away people's rights.
