Re: Baghdad church siege ends with 52 dead
Well, Nuckle, my simple-minded Alabamian friend, if we just talk to the crazy people with explosives strapped to them who've been told that if they martyr themselves to kill infidels they get into heaven, they'll take off their vests and come out. C'mon, dontcha know?! Explain that the people who told them that were wrong and they'll come around.

Because terrorism is worthless if no one knows about it. Maximum effect requires maximum exposure, so garnering media attention before the act is a necessary part of the act itself.
Ah, I get it. What we should do, is turn around and find the nearest pile of sand, and bury our heads! Yes, if we just pretend the terrorists don't exist, they'll all go home.

The middle is east in general is had been the same for last 2000 to 5000 years.
You get a dictator in charge, a religious extremist faction and you fight over dirt.
I wonder if you live in a place that wasnt mostly covered by sand, 120 degress and got laid more then if they would be a more relaxed group of individuals.
I guarentee when I die hopefully around the age of 80 or older in say the next 50 years the same bullshit going on now will be the same bullshit then.Last edited by digital; 11-01-10 at 05:35 PM.

How long has them crazy fuckers been blowing themselves up and taking people with them? How long has them crazy fuckers been killing in the name of Allah? Probably since around the 7th century.
How many times do we need to see so called hostages beheaded before we learn a damn thing. Plenty of smart people around here with very little walking around sense.

Sarcasm, because it was evident then and it is very evident now that it was a mistake to invade Iraq and that Iraq is indeed not safer or in any better condition than it was pre-invasion/occupation.....
*EDIT*
But it looks like they learned a few things from our leadership......http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39945205...deastn_africa/Last edited by hawgballs; 11-01-10 at 07:53 PM.

Re: Baghdad church siege ends with 52 dead
I ask our refugee porters, christians from Iraq, and they say it was better when the "brutal dictator" was around. Christians need not fear bands of Shia looking for inifidels...... That is why they are "refugees" because since the invasion, christians and sunni are fair game for the majority shia.......
