Theroux is a great documentary maker. He's done stuff on everything from people that believe in aliens to hardcore Nazis in America. I am hoping I get the chance to watch this soon. They are usually ultra entertaining and interesting. I know very little about Israel so this should be great to take in.

Yea me too man, there so much shit going down in the middle east that they never teach in school, I'm going to watch it tonight. Also I think Louis Theroux is a great documentary maker, he always gets the story without being bias or trying to persuade the audience into a particular way of thinking which is more than I can say for most documentary makers.

I watched it last night and I can't say how much I suggest everyone take the time to watch it. He paints a very fair and what I would guess is accurate picture of why the region is so unstable. The most interesting part to me were the American Christians that travel to help this Jewish settler at his vineyard. That and it hit me hard how often children are forced into these very dangerous and what is mostly political demonstrations. These Jewish settlers that bring their very young children into these contented areas, and the Arab children that are encouraged to riot and throw rocks at soldiers. Its like you are seeing another generation being conditioned to hate each other, its very sad.

I still think the group that needs to push a lamb out to moderate between the two is some well respected (contradiction from the start) Atheist since he/she can claim to be unbiased in the sense that both parties have a very poor initial validity. If I was a Muslim Palestinian guy and some Christian claimed that he could be unbiased and resolve the issue through mediation I would chuck a rock at him/her just out of principal.

Also I really think there is an untapped resource for American baseball scouts, I mean did you see some of those Palestinian kids side arm those rocks? That's good training right there.

I give the crazy award to the parents ito both sides. They have lived through very shitty times filled with death and war, but they continue to focus on the differences and fester in hate. Expecting things to change when you carry on business as usual is mega crazy. Theroux gets my vote for least crazy, as a journalist he found himself a great story to tell.

Theroux also did a documentary about the Westboro Baptist Church. These Zionists are awfully similar to them.... They use crazy religious extremism to justify taking away property from a certain ethnicity, pushing them into ghettos, and treating them like second-class citizens. They are really awful people.
