I don't think that he has much of a chance with centrist voters.

The day Dr. Paul is president is the happiest day of my life.

He has to be one of the most un-corrupt politicians out there. This alone insures that his party won't rally around him.

Yea I know, in order to make it anywhere in politics you have to play ball. You have to sell out, you don't get anywhere by doing the right thing....I voted for Obama last election....only because I thought he was a better candidate (less corrupt) than McCain....Why is that? It seems like every election we vote for the person that is "less bad". Why can't we get a decent candidate from either the Republican or Democratic party? We all know that Ron Paul is one of the most respected politicians out there, why hasn't he gotten the support he deserves from the Republican party? Just get him on the ballot and he has my vote....

The GOP doesn't like real republicans, let alone libertarians. They'd like the people who say "less government, lower taxes" but really mean "less taxes (for the rich), spend more, and less government (only for straight men, with "nothing to hide")

Yea I know, Republicans are for less government spending right So why did George W. Bush (Republican) increase the deficit by 4 trillion!?!? (Bush Administration Adds $4 Trillion To National Debt - Couric & Co. - CBS News) Thats more than any other president in history and I think Obama is on pace to surpass that...
