Haha, yeah, Bush's tactics have done so well in rooting out an enemy that's integrated into the local population. Maybe we'll have those Pirates by 2030, after several trillion dollars.

No its perfect logic. We do what we have to do and real world events are much harder to make decisions on then sitting in front of your computer talking about how its failed logic. There are far more variables then you could possibly imagine because it does not come down to stay in the fight or pull troops out.

Wait... get out of what? Somalia? The Secret Pirate Island? Can't you follow a thread for more than three posts? Commander suggested using Bush's tactics on a new enemy. The fact that Afghanistan is so complex, as you've pointed out, is just more reason why Commander's idea is so stupid.
