Right...I've seen white women act the same way.
What I saw in the commercial: wife makes sure her husband eats right. Wife approves drinking a zero calorie drink. Wife sees her husband checking out another woman and gets angry.
I didn't see race as a part of it.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

So here is the funny thing to me about that, I didn't even think of it in any racial context. When I saw it (well I mainly saw the end), it was a wife getting mad at her husband for checking out a hot girl.
Now that someone, somewhere apparently tried to read too much into it, I'm willing to bet a lot of people will see the ad as a Black women and Black man. By trying to "fight" the "stereotype" they've just turned it into something racial and, possibly, spread the stereotype out further (imo).
One I'm surprised about not hearing anything on, is the State Farm ad where the guy backs into the car. That one struck me, from the moment I saw it, as incredibly stereotypical.
