Re: Ask a Cop...
I don't see it as blaming in all cases, really people (not saying you or anyone else on here) need to take better care of their shit and not believe that we live in this perfect and lovely society. I'd also imagine it's hard to catch someone in such a case if no one saw anything. If you leave valuable stuff in your car, don't be surprised if it gets stolen. I don't care where I am, there are certain things in my car that I hide out of plain sight when I exit the vehicle.

Re: Ask a Cop...
I feel your pain on this. I had all 3 vehicles gone thru one night so i called it in seeing as i didn't touch them yet. They get here and act like im bothering them. I had to force them to dust them for prints. You never know the asshole could just have a record and they pop up and you get one more scum bag off the street. Fairly certain those prints were never run just going by the attitude of the 2 dipshits that showed up.
Thats what i get for trying to help out. Not that i cared about the little shit they took but i learned a valuable lesson with the 2 times i've called something in. That being i'll handle it myself and they can clean up the mess.

Kinda hard to hide a tool box, but it was black with black interior and well tinted windows. My brother was broke into and they took a lawn chair and jacket one time and his ancient non working cdplayer the other. Really? Kinda hard to expect getting broke into over that shit.

Re: Ask a Cop...
So... If all cops are supposed to obey traffic laws (I watch every local cop but one fail to signal) unless 'bidness' dictates otherwise, who tickets them?
As a police officer, are you expected to pull over another cop car to write them a ticket or issue a warning? You'd know if they had a call or reason. Does it go to a superior first if at all?
Would you have the balls to treat them like any other driver if you did see a traffic offence? .....or would it be an 'old boys club' thing?
Sorry if it's a dick question but I've always wondered about this while watching such lazy driving around here.
