I flew from PHX to DFW this past week, and I was not frisked or patted. I simply went through an old school metal detector.

Went through chicago (ORD), San fran (SFO), and Knoxville TN security several times in the past week. Was never searched, only had my hands swabbed once. The rest of the time it was old school metal detector.

That ciould be the malor difference in personal opinions going on. Orlando was one of the first to get this bs scanners and most likely one of the first to start the rest of the shit going on. The airport where kraker is at my not even have the scanners yet seeing as last i knew they were only in 81 airports so far.

Lol....Waters gettin a little to deep to start back peddlin. Admit, all your facts come from TV news man...get out there in the world, its not that bad of a place.

And FYI...Indianapolis had a brand new state of the art terminal built...opened 2 years ago, and we have had the full body scanners since it opened....I have had to do that once...they just select random people to do it...I thought it was pretty cool

Whos back peddlin? I have never been to ind. airport so it seemed plausable that maybe they aren't as up to date as Orlando due to the amount of traffic that flows thru here verses there. I travel all over the country for work so your opinion on what happens here verses there is not only unfounded but wrong. I cant give an explination as to why they do it here and not there. Which is somewhat disturbing seeing as it should be done one way across the board if your going to it at all.

I dont debate the scanners are kind of cool. My issue is its a violation of rights because there is no probable cause for the search.

    Re: TSA in denial?

There doesnt need to be probable cause for a scanner to scan you. The 4th amendment protects you from "unreasonable" searches and seizures, and since a full body scan is not technically a "search" it does not warrent here. Now, if you ask on a "reasonable expectaion of privacy" that may work, but being scanned is a condition to flying on an airline. Just like a condition of your drivers license, you have to submit to a chemicle test if there is reason to believe you have committed an OWI.
