    Yes.

Also, Jim Jefferies is a miserable human being who shouldn't be consulted on any topic.

Are you certain of this? Has he published peer-reviewed studies? The only thing that I could find was a book.

Someone is suffering fro heavy flow this week. The guy is a comedian, he is brash but can you dispute what he said? I understand that it is easier to brush aside what he said because he is"miserable", not so easy to point out the falsehoods of his very humorous logic though.

And I understand that this is just a personal experience/observation, but about five of my porters at my work are Iraqi refugees, Assyrian christians to be exact, all of which have had a family member or two killed by both Sunni and Shi'ite muslims. They walk into our lunchroom and pass up all of the english speaking christians in the room to sit and chat with the rest of the Arabic speakers Sunni and Shi'ite alike. You would think, based on your theory, that they would identify with those of similar religion rather than language. Peculiar.

State Constitutions that Discriminate Against Atheists

What is it with the U.S. and what seems our mentality that you must believe in a god (and often a certain type of god) to ever be more then a citizen? I believe there was a poll done awhile ago that should majority of people (we are talking about a LARGE majority) would not vote for an Atheist. I don't really get why belief in a god would matter?

Maybe its just due to me being agnostic that it bugs me, I don't know. What do you guys think? Do you think belief in a god should be a requirement? Do you care if a person running for office believes in Jesus, Buddha, Flying Spaghetti Monsters, or no one at all?

And I suppose the biggest question, why do you think religion seems to be a big issue for a candidate?
After reading that link Im half tempted to move to one of those states, run for a position in government and dare them to tell me I can't run. If taken to court, the supremes would have to rule in favor of the god-less
