by the way, if you have an open records law, and work for the state, make sure you agree with everything they say or they'll search your e-mail

Did you even watch that NatGeo documentary? Didnt think so. Of coure no one here agrees with me about MJ...its a gamer forum you dumbass....
As far as the double face palm. My words are spoken softly. I do not have the time nor care to really get in a heated debate with anyone. But when I see people (fov) who actually think that elected officials out there "HATE" people who work, and want to do anything to DESTROY THEM is just fuckin halirous....thats called taking politics a little too far when you start to believe things like that, and its time to go outside and see the big world.
One day mafioso, we will meet sometime in person, and maybe then you will understand who and how I am

ROFL Dex.. "Big labor" Stop watching so much Faux. They love to sell the fear mongering of "big labor" The labor movement hasn't been "big labor" since Hoffa's time. It has been subsequently chipped away by the propaganda machine of the corporate right... and guys like you buy right into it. Want to see crying? Let the trend continue until labor is gone entirely.. and when the working class is dead, sweat shops have returned, and it's back to being either rich or poor, with nothing in between.. then you'll see some crying. I wonder if you'll ask "how did this happen?"
Big labor.. *chuckle*

Re: Wisconsin bill was really about JUST saving money...
Is it? Look at our history.. where were the good paying jobs BEFORE unions? And it's not just about wage.. where were the worker protection standards before Unions? Where are they in countries that have no unions?
Do only Union jobs have good wages? No, because The labor movement does more than just protect people immediately within their own unions.. it lobbies, it supports, it rallies and does other things to help effect federal regulation. And without that, you only have one side of the line lobbying and funding politicians, and so you only get one side's agenda being passed through. That's, you could say, collective bargaining on a broader scale.. because we have people on both sides of the line lobbying and supporting, so hopefully we find a middle ground, one that's reasonable for both labor and Corporate entities.
There's a saying in the labor movement: United We Bargain, Divided We Beg. It sounds like you support begging.

03-26-11, 01:56 PM #50I will agree that unions helped to make changes, but assuming changes would not have happened without them is not a guarantee. Look at black rights, women's rights, and many other laws. They were changed/enacted without the need for collective bargaining. My guess is with or without unions people would have banded together to enforce change.
They're climbing in your Tapatalk and snatchin' your people up.
