this is a blatant abuse of 4th Amendment rights. If I got pulled over for speeding and the cop asked for my license, registration, insurance, and phone, I would hand him the documents and if he asked for the phone again, I would tell him to fuck off and start filming. My phone has a cute little app that sends the recordings back to my Windows Home Server in real time
So when he physically takes it, which I am sure he will, let him think he has destroyed the evidence of his abuse of the 4th Amendment. The file will be safely waiting on me at home.
When are we Americans going to reclaim our revolutionary heritage and demand the rights that our forefathers fought and died for? When is enough enough?
This country was founded on the principals that inalienable human rights could be set down on paper and defended against all tyranny, both foreign and domestic.
Why has that been allowed to erode to a state where such a blatant disregard for ideals that we supposedly hold sacred is allowed and even practiced by those sworn to serve and protect?Sleep, eat, conquer, meditate, repeat.

Fov and Dex find common ground.
This is absolutely ridiculous.
Not a problem if they have a search warrant, and need evidence of the person's whereabouts, but without one, it is a clear violation of our right to privacy.
I would also love to hear from Crapple on why they are gathering this info. Not that it's a huge deal, or the only way you can be tracked (Visa has much more info on us than ANYONE else), but I'm curious as to why Apple needs it.

Which is why i have all my data stored on a db on my phone, which is not the norm. So even if their app were too somehow penetrate my phone they'd find nothing. Wouldnt mind getting the specs non their shit, back-hack is not illegal, but their penetration is.

Except that a wire tap has to be allowed by a judge right? And there has to be probable cause. I mean i guess if the cop is pulling you over for texting, but ive never see that :< (hate drivers who are to busy texting to watch the road).
But thats the only possible justification behind this that i see,

Encrypt whole device and refuse to divulge the key. It has already been upheld that you are not required to divulge an encryption key based on your 5th amendment rights.
