Re: New Wikileaks
What makes the terrorist a coward and I stand by it 100% is that they launch their attacks from within the civilian population in hopes of not being attacked and if they are pinpointed attacked and an innocent life is lost, they use it on their propaganda media.
Any army that wants to stand up and fight like a man and not a coward, declares their position by uniform and meets on a battleground to get it on, not in the suburbs of the civilian population, blending in with civilians and putting their lives at risk, which makes them a coward.

Re: New Wikileaks
Good question. My answer is no. Whats going on in Lybia is a revolution. The people have said enough is enough and want change. This is a case were average citezens have taken up arms to demand their rights. They have a clear set goal of what it would take to bring it to an end.
A terrorist is someone that persues their will be means of terror and make no distinction between civilian and military.
Granted i do see some similarities but in this particular case i would have to say no.

Don't confuse terrorism with guerrilla tactics though there are similarities. Look up the Grey Ghost from the Civil War for good examples.
A stand up fight against a superior force is just stupid and a waste of resources. Sun Tzu would advise against it, as would any leader worth his salt.
Though I am not following the conflict in Libya closely, all I know is that there is conflict. I don't know what tactics/methods are being used.

I am sure if you asked many of the detainees in Gitmo they would claim to be revolting against Western invaders trying to change their way of life in their country, thus making them revolutionaries. The lines are so gray these days that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. It just depends on which side of the argument you are on.
