Sure you can come to your own conclusion, but sitting at home watching the video on your computer is a MUCH different perspective then seeing it live on the front lines where if you spend too much time looking at that one group someone else can pop an RPG into your helicopter. You have to make quick decisions, there's no time to sit down and debate things or consult your moral code. A lot of these decisions are made on the fly because they HAVE to be.

Personally, if I lived in an occupied country, and I knew that there were people in my country fighting against the oppressors, and I found a group of dead/dieing people in a street while I could probably still hear gunfire a couple of blocks away....I'd leave those people there, especially if I had kids with me.

But we're talking about this incident here and not war in general. This is a case by case basis and in this case there was plenty of time to make the decision and there was no chaos as clearly shown in the video.

Actually I was talking specifically about this incident. As has already been mentioned previously in this thread, there was a firefight just a few blocks over from this situation, where a ground unit was under fire from a force in THIS direction.

That doesn't make it a chaotic situation for the pilots. They had plenty of time to decide what they were going to do.

That being said, if those Iraqis who got fired on were the 'force' involved in the firefight, where were all their weapons. A supposed rocket launcher is not exactly rapid fire. Unless, of course, they were glitching.

The guns disappear after 20 seconds, the bodies disappear when they respawn...
