Re: Pawlenty tax plan.
I can start posting pictures of these folks straight from my grocery trips. I can also document it for a straight month if you'd like. I know the higher percentage of the folks that actually come in with foodstamps, have at least 2 kids, money in the wallet because they buy what food stamps allow, then separate their grocery's into what they will pay with one of the hundreds in their billfold from the foodstamps, which usually is alcohol and cigarettes. They also walk out to a caddy, huge SUV, or candy colored 80's model DONK that I know for a fact has more expensive parts than the cost of the car. Anyone that can drive an Escalade with 24" rims doesn't need government help, they need help with their priorities.

Re: Pawlenty tax plan.
You and I should start a web site similar to peopleofwalmart.com.
Better yet they should do an online poll or send out a questionnaire.
Mr. Pepper,
You are on walfare. Please answer the question below honestly.
Are you taking advantage of the system?
I am sure the answer would be Yes lol.

06-08-11, 02:45 PM #44I am sure people on government assistance are lining up to tell of any side income they receive, especially the illegal variety. That being said people on government assistance currently do, and still will, pay little to no taxes, so they have little to no bearing on this argument, and are just thrown in by the liberals to scream think of the children.
Funny how people on the left were just bitching about how large corporations were only paying 5% or so in taxes. I would be willing to bet that the well paid tax attorneys for these corporations also have well paid clients that do the same on the same on their personal taxes, yet when a 25% tax rate is proposed for these individuals it is regressive?

Re: Pawlenty tax plan.
I'm also not down on anyone either. I totally understand there are circumstances beyond peoples control, but a lot of people rather not have a job and get free benefits rather than be seen in a less than desirable job. Those circumstances outside of a persons control though are not a time to be debby downer either, it's what you do with that time and your talent to make something of yourself. There's a lot of waste out there, simply because it's made too easy to just "get by".
So yeh, my money is my money, I'll pay MY fair share of taxes, but I'm not going to stand by and allow the leftists to make me feel bad because I got out and made it. I certainly don't OWE it to anyone either.
Better yet, i do owe it to someone...my parents and grandparents, who raised me right.Last edited by K0nTANK3Rous; 06-08-11 at 02:55 PM.

So, in other words, you all have nothing other than anecdotal evidence. You want to convince me of something, you'll need to do better than that.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Re: Pawlenty tax plan.
So you tell me where they keep stats of individuals income levels from selling stolen, pirated merchandise, or drugs, or stolen electronics, etc....... Actually nevermind, we should just look on their tax returns, because I'm sure they've reported the income. I (along with thousands upon thousands of people) see this every day, I don't need a link to prove it to myself, I've seen it first hand. Then again, according to your info, you were located in Northern Louisiana....visit the southern portion of our state and you'll see precisely what I'm talking about.
If you choose to believe what we are saying doesn't exist then you are being selectively naive for the sake of the argument.

I never said it doesn't exist, but for as far as I know, since you can't statistics otherwise, you've presented anomalies/outliers. I'm sure a Google search would help you. Where are these "thousands of other people"? Why are they not reporting this corruption?
