Stupid ass link wont let me type under it. Anyway i have to say i kind of agree with this one.

A Montgomery County inspector fined a children’s lemonade stand $500 for operating without a license just outside of Congressional Country Club, where the U.S. Open is being played this weekend, WUSA-9 reported.

Neighbors were allowed to charge for parking if they bought a $300 permit to do so.

Yeah that seems pretty stupid to me. Its your yard but if your going to make a profit i guess they have the right to require a permit.

What you do is put up a sign $2 donation for lemonade. Then its not a business. And if I lived close I would let people park in my yard for free, just to piss the city off!

When i lived in fernandina beach florida they were making a movie on my street Well actually right in front of my house, ill have to ask the wife the name of it i forget, i let them park in my yard for free and hook up to my water. I had to do something lol you could tell they were not use to florida summers much less it was hitting triple digits. I never had an issue when i lived in places short on parking to let people park at my house but they had to at least ask or the car dollys came out.

What a country we live in and what an asshole to fine those kids. I don't care if technically the kids should have had a permit, you don't fine 10 year old kids for selling lemonade in front of their home.

Then your ok because he didn't fine 10 year old kids. He fined their parents after warning them several times.

I can just imagine the conversation between the kid and the parents.

"mommy why can't we sell lemonade?"

"because sweetie you didn't fill out form B9-1, which allocates you a permit to sell lemonade on our property"

Maybe It's because It's 3 AM and I'm half asleep, but that's hilarious.
