Our country is absolutely pathetic when it comes to providing health care for every citizen. It's beyond sad, it's disgusting. Yet, here we are, supposedly the "richest country in the world," where those with the least are treated the worst. But too many people fall for the propaganda that insurance companies are great, benevolent entities and the government is evil. They would rather be gouged out of more money for substandard plans than just go with the cheaper and better Medicare-for-all method. I mean, seniors don't have a shitfit when politicians talk about cutting Medicare because they hate it...

N.C. doesn't have medicaid? I'm sure he would have qualified according to the eligibility chart from the NC department of health and human services, Division of Medical Assistance.
