China
The short story is that China's debt is actually pretty high and is just as unsustainable as ours. It's also held mostly by private US financial institutions.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Re: China's debt
Are you getting this from FOX news
Really... Let's put our thinking caps on and THINK! China... Huge... Communist.... Country... Wanted to help Greece out by buying their debts... Helping the US by buying our debts... Does not seem that China is in a financial problem to me. Sure I am not looking at the ying 24/7 but I do have enough sense to know that China has enough money to help out anybody.

Re: China's debt
I wouldn't be surprised if this article is accurate in many regards. China does spend an exorbitant amount of money on infrastructure and building up the cities as fast as humanly possible, as well as developing subway systems, and other modes of transportation all across the country. China may take in a LOT of money but they also don't manage it very well. (Not to mention the billions and billions of RMB lost to crooked government officials)

Re: China's debt
Well, shit, at least they are getting something useful out of their debt. They get infrastructure, we get tax cuts for the wealthy. The similarities seem to be that we both went too far. The Chinese started building infrastructure they didn't even need, while we were cutting taxes that didn't need to be cut and not touching the spending levels (*cough*Defense*cough*). Two different sides of the same coin, apparently.
