Misleading articles.
10 States That Added the Most Jobs in the First Half of 2011 - Careers Articles
This caught my eye because the title read
Need a Job? Move to FloridaThanks in part to a construction boom, this state has made huge gains in job creation -- and the future looks even brighter.
Then i started thinking just the other day Florida was listed as like number 3 or number 4 for highest unemployment rate. So read this thing and it says
"3. Florida
- 2011 Job Growth, January - June: 85,500
- January Unemployment: 11.9 percent (third highest)
- June Unemployment: 10.4 percent (seventh highest)
- Net Job Change (January 2008 - December 2010): -739,000 (second worst loss)
Florida was one of -- if not the hardest-hit state during the subprime mortgage crisis, losing nearly 750,000 jobs between 2008 and 2011. States with a large construction industry were hurt the most, and Florida was has one of the largest in the country. At the beginning of this year, Florida had the third-highest unemployment rate in the country. Now, thanks to a major recovery in construction, it has dropped to seventh highest, and added 85,000 employees to payrolls in the state. According to the Florida Independent, last month was also the first in five years in which Florida had a net gain in manufacturing jobs."
So it makes me think who is fact checking this shit? There is no construction boom in Florida. We had the largest in the country prior to this shit but right now its dead. According to the labor board Florida is rated 4th highest unemployment for june at 10.6.
Unemployment Rates for States
So whats the deal are we just starting to make shit up in hopes people will be stupid enough to believe it? Granted i dont think anyone with any common sense bought into Obamas press release about the reccesion being over 2 years ago. This is kind of different though. This is an article misleading people that one of the states still worse off then 92% of the country is booming. What a load of shit.

All things related to oil field. Which affects just about every thing. They are building like crazy. From engineers to contractors to roughnecks and in between. Three big companies just bought large plots for equipment yards within 5 miles of my house.
