The US Debt
This:
Who Holds the Federal Debt?
... is a great chart. Simple, interactive, and easy to parse visually - it's a good overview of who holds the debt. It's not the whole story, but this subject is getting kicked around in these here Drama forums pretty often and I thought someone might be interested.

Re: The US Debt
The Debt Clock is Great but most people only look at the TOP Number $14+ Trillion ! Where you really need to Focus is on the BOTTOM RIGHT Numbers where it say UNFUNDED LIABILITIES at $114+ Trillion and Each Taxpayer Liability of $1.1 Million !!!!! How much of a CUT is $1.2 Trillion over TEN YEARS when unfunded liabilities is $114 Trillion Right Now ?? !!!! How Many YEARS will it take to pay off $114 Trillion How many GENERATIONS will it take

Re: The US Debt
blah blah blah same shit new thread.
Oh and the liabilities number is a guess at a possible number if everything taken into account actually happens. Of which it never does. Not to worry though you want to see that thing move faster? Wait until health care kicks in if it makes it thru all the court dates.
