Re: Trouble mounting for Obama?
If you were so bold as to question his ability, bring up his record as a senator, list his friends of questionable background or simply call him out.... you were/are a racist. The media proclaimed it, and even certain posters on these forums have alluded to that train of thought. In addition, his redistributionist ways seemed great to the masses when they were sugar coated with Obama speak, but folks are a bit more wary now that they see where we are headed, in large part due to his involvement since 2008.

I doubt it. Hes not one of my favorite people either but i have to give the man credit where its due and he is one hard fucker. If you voluntarily stay in a pow camp because everyone cant leave thats fucking hard core. Most people wouldnt even consider looking back as they walk away.

Re: Trouble mounting for Obama?
Agreed White, i am an avid Ron Paul supporter. He is passionate about his job and i have never seen him change his stance in any of the debates he has participated in. However, he is a Constitutionalist and, even though that is a great thing, he will probably never see many things go his way because politicians now-a-days could care less about the Constitution. Regardless of that point, i believe he would still make an excellent President and could accomplish what Obama did not.
And people are only now starting to realize that Obama didnt have enough experience?!?!?!?! No friggin shit Sherlock!! Anyone could see that. His tongue got him elected, nothing else. He preached hope, change, and taking care of business. But what has he done? Multiple choice:
A.) Nothing
B.) Nada
C.) Zilch
D.) Zip
E.) All of the above"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Albert Einstein

Experience wouldn't of helped much in this case, anyone harking it is trying to find things to bash him on. Give someone with experience 2 years of a divided government, where one side will not budge an inch and appears to WANT the country to go to shit for their political gain and see what they get done. I don't know about you, but I'll put my money on not much.
The other 2 years? They got a few things passed, but often much of it was watered down, killing the effectiveness (or misguided, which is the fault of everyone in party leadership), due to the terrible Senate filibuster law which allows 1 person to shut down a bill unless the other side can get 60 people to override it. And when one side's only response is "filibuster" well gee...it might be a bit hard.
Obama has done plenty I haven't agreed with, but I also realize in some of those cases, he's been screwed by the two parties who have become more concerned with getting elected then what is right for the country. I mean who the fuck seriously TRIES to put the country into a default (yes we wouldn't technically, but some wouldn't be paid etc. etc.) for their political crap (and it is political crap, I will seriously lose respect for you if you think the far right actually gives a shit about the debt other then to get the far right voters to eat them up). If you want to see how serious they are, look at their willingness to cut defense spending or raise taxes.

Re: Trouble mounting for Obama?
Ditto all that shit for the left side as well.
Personally i think experience is what we need here but not the kind they are reffering to with Obama. What we need is someone that has actually had to deal with the problems this country has on a day to day bases. Rich people have no idea what its like to actually have to cut shit out of your exspenses whether it be something you dont care about or something you really do not want to.
