You've been a member since 11-18-07. Thats plenty of time for the discussions on whether Obama was going to be different then every other politician that held office. Which is all that was implied.

Which is explicitly about 4 years ago, before Obama became president. I've been a member of TTP since 2007, but not a participant in this forum. I was only involved with the 2142 forum. You'd be hard-pressed to find any posts from me at all outside of the 5th and 2142 forums that date back more than 2 years. So yes, you were completely inaccurate when you called me out for a statement that I never made, in a thread that I wasn't involved in. I think the original article quoted is interesting, and for this reason:

Federal prosecutors are cracking down on some pot dispensaries in California, warning the stores that they must shut down in 45 days or face criminal charges and confiscation of their property even if they are operating legally under the state's 15-year-old medical marijuana law.

How many years back do we have to go before the idea of the Feds handling marijuana dealers by sending them a 45-day shutdown notice and threatening them with confiscation of property is the most crazy-assed thing you EVER heard?

I mean, like, far and away the most bat-shit crazy thing ever. It'd be a good comedy sketch, "Polite DEA Agents", some night when Christopher Walken is hosting SNL.

That this has even happened is a sign that something has changed.
