Lawrence O'Donnell is an ignoramous and Cain basically destroyed his interview lol
Herman Cain mopped the floor with him. Lawrence O'Donnell's questions, when not outright misleading, were offensive in equal measure. This made me happy to watch lol.
Cain was tenacious, factual, on-point and un-flustered.

Cain just gained even more legitimacy in my eyes.

I guess it's time to stop listening to Harry Belafonte for the same reason? Cause he's a lucky rich SOB too. Right?
At any rate, Belafonte then goes on to speak about the prison population and it's minority make percentages. And unemployment and it's minority percentages. He claims then that black people "aren't having the best time of it." How is that related to Cain or a criticism of Cain? No idea. Non sequitur if you ask me.
He then decides to "double dip" and play the evil racist Republican card saying that Republicans, Tea Partys and the "extreme right (lol), are in some evil diabolical plot to continue to present what

Except I am positive that if you asked Rice and Powell and even Cain who one of their heroes is I guarantee that King is up there...top 5.
But this is the type of drivel and tripe that I'll fight all the time. This pseudo-intellectual shit being spewed as if it has merit. Why? Because Belafonte is a public figure of some note? Because he's in possession of a "gravelly" voice which lends subconscious credence to what he says. Please. No wait....bitch please.

Alundil, I have no dog in this hunt but...why you riding this man's nuts so hard? Are you stumping for him?
Oh, and I found Cain's discussion with Clinton to be pretty much rhetorical and very light on actual facts (numbers). He's a CEO who's primary concern is to generate as much profit as possible. If that meant making less and having his employees covered he would automatically be against it.Last edited by triggerhappy2005; 10-11-11 at 10:04 AM.

Trigger, other than I am in agreement with a number of his positions moreso than the rest of the current crop of candidates (sitting it otherwise) no I'm not stumping for him. It never ceases to amaze though that the left (look no further than the most recent two examples if belafonte and o'donnell) will use race to demonize someone like Cain (or Rice or even Powell) and it gets a pass. I could've put that o'donnell bit in the other thread about bias and double standards and it would have applied there as well.
Do I have a dog in this hunt, not explicitly related to Cain, no. Do I have a problem with the fact that people make up nasty ass shit and get away with it? Yup.
But since you posted the Belafonte bit, is that your position? You support Belafonte's idea that Rice and Powell (even though he ha supported dem ideas in the past and for a time the current administration) and Cain are simple-minded puppets? Do tell.
