Thread: Joe Biden Scare Tactics

Politicians using scare tactics to pass bills the people don't approve of, what else is new?

Reminds me of:

Invasion of the middle east: Bush says their will be more terrorist attacks on America if we don't. (by the way, we've been there for 10 years, spent 3 trillion dollars and lost thousands of American lives and I don't see much of a difference in the stability of the middle east)

Passing of the Patriot Act: Bush says people must give up their liberties or else the government won't be able to track terrorists and more terrorists attacks will occur. (Obama extends last year)


Trillion dollar bail outs for their friends on wall street: Bush says the economy will collapse and their will be martial law unless we pass it. (Bush starts the bail out process and Obama finishes it)


And now this:

Text book politics: If you can't pass your shitty bill that's filled with special interest earmarks and luxury contracts for your friends (i.e. Solyndra), over exaggerate and use scare tactics to get it passed.
