Leaving Iraq!

I know its politically motivated (elections coming up), and we were promised sooner... but I am really happy to see there is a promise to be out of there at the end of the year. Now lets keep this momentum going and leave Afghanistan, Libya and South Korea.

yeah, SK has a stable and sustainable economy and a substantial military. They don't need us anymore.

I don't mind them staying in Sk, there not in combat so its not like were losing American lives. Also I think our presence there is very important, its a reminder to Nk that if they mess with Sk, they mess with us.

Thank you too all that have served. My personal opinions in no way diminish my respect and gratitude for those that have served. I have a few people very close to me including my father that had their military careers honorably end because of injuries they sustained in Iraq/Afghanistan; so for me this announcement is personal and very exciting.

Also helps that North Korea is so poor they could not feed there own population if it wasn't for outside assistance. Also there small arms ammunition is low enough that there military does not get the kind of practice shooting time that you would expect, they have plenty of artillery rounds still though.

I'm sorry but why is he getting any credit for this? The troops were already slotted to come home by the end of the year. He and his advisors were trying to get a new deal to keep troops there. Thanks to the Iraqi government and Bush jr the troops will be coming home.
